What is the Patronopolis?
The Patronopolis is a community of donors supporting an individual artist's creative process.
Understanding that making art takes time, space, and freedom, the Patronopolis sponsors the hours an artist spends generating new work.

Amy launched this new arts-funding model on June 21, 2011. In its first year, 259 members joined the Patronopolis, donating $23,514, which underwrote all of the time she spent developing Reserve & Green, a post-apocalyptic coming-of-age musical.

Now in its second year, the Patronopolis continues to fund the creation of Reserve & Green, as well as the development of this alternative arts-funding model into something many artists can use.

The Patronopolis democratizes patronage and provides a new way to solve an old problem, shared by artists everywhere -- how to get paid while generating new work.

Join us, and
help this model grow.
