Job opening: Director of Marketing and Development

                              Wild Things Music
                              music education gone feral

I believe you have music inside you, waiting to come out. No matter how old or young you are, no matter what you've been told, no matter how much experience you have (or don't have) -- if you want to make music, you can. As your teacher, I believe my job is to help open the pathways that will allow this happen, and to help make your musical journey safe, joyful and lively. I lead groups rather than giving individual private lessons, because I believe the true magic of music is revealed in community.

I run the four groups listed to the right on an ongoing basis in Missoula. For interested students outside of Missoula, I run condensed versions of these programs as workshops. I also sometimes lead workshops on other topics, including:
                              - songwriting
                              - using sound in place-based learning (for teachers)
                              - poetry and song as supplements to high school curricula (history, composition, etc.)

If you would like to discuss the possibility a workshop in your area, please contact me.

                              I love to teach!

"I love to sing, but never considered myself a singer, and certainly never had the confidence to sing with others or in front of a group. Amy has a gift for drawing people out of their shells."
